We evaluate manufacturing feasibility based on customer drawings, samples, and product specifications, and can support different material, process, inspection, packaging, and shipping requirements.
Homer Hardware serves a wide range of industries, including automotive components, industrial safety hardware, furniture hardware, medical assistive devices, outdoor equipment, tool bags and safety buckles, AI server brackets, drone components, solar panel mounting brackets, and other industrial applications.

Project feasibility is evaluated according to product design, materials, manufacturing processes, order quantity, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
Yes. Homer Hardware accepts inquiries and orders from international customers. We can evaluate and quote projects based on customer drawings, samples, and product specifications, and arrange shipment by international courier, air freight, or sea freight.

Quotation, payment, and shipping terms are confirmed according to the product, order quantity, destination, and individual project requirements.
Yes. Homer Hardware provides both OEM and ODM services. OEM products can be manufactured based on existing customer drawings, samples, and technical specifications. For ODM projects, we can assist in evaluating product structure, material selection, manufacturing processes, tooling requirements, and mass-production feasibility based on the intended function and application.

The development scope, cost, schedule, intellectual property rights, and responsibilities of both parties are confirmed separately for each project.

Custom Development

Yes. Homer Hardware can evaluate and manufacture custom products based on customer-provided 2D or 3D drawings, physical samples, technical specifications, and application requirements. We assess suitable materials, manufacturing processes, tooling, surface finishes, quality requirements, and mass-production feasibility.

For a more accurate evaluation and quotation, please provide product dimensions, tolerances, materials, surface-finishing requirements, estimated order quantity, application conditions, and any required testing or compliance specifications.
Yes. We can begin with a preliminary evaluation even if formal drawings are not yet available. Customers may provide a physical sample, sketch, photographs, key dimensions, material requirements, intended application, estimated quantity, and functional requirements.

However, complete dimensions, tolerances, materials, surface finishes, and quality standards must be confirmed before the final quotation and production to avoid specification discrepancies.
Yes. Based on product function, material characteristics, manufacturing processes, and mass-production requirements, we can provide design-for-manufacturing evaluations and recommendations related to structure, dimensions, tolerances, material selection, tooling, assembly methods, and cost optimization.

All proposed changes are implemented only after customer approval. Final product design, functional requirements, validation standards, and responsibilities are defined according to the documents confirmed for each project.
A typical custom-product development process includes:

1. The customer provides drawings, samples, technical specifications, and estimated demand.
2. We evaluate product structure, materials, manufacturing processes, tooling requirements, and mass-production feasibility.
3. Quotation, development schedule, payment terms, and quality requirements are confirmed.
4. Engineering review and tooling or fixture development are carried out.
5. Samples are produced and inspected for dimensions, appearance, assembly, or function.
6. The customer reviews the samples, with revisions and additional sampling arranged if required.
7. After sample approval, mass production, quality inspection, packaging, and shipment are arranged.

The actual process and lead time depend on product complexity, manufacturing processes, tooling requirements, and validation items.
Not necessarily. Tooling requirements depend on the product design, material, manufacturing process, dimensional accuracy, and order quantity.

Dedicated tooling is generally required for metal stamping, die casting, plastic injection molding, forging, and special forming processes. CNC machining, laser cutting, sheet-metal bending, and certain standardized processes may require only fixtures or no dedicated tooling.

After reviewing the drawings or samples, we will recommend a suitable manufacturing method and explain any tooling or fixture requirements, related costs, and estimated development lead time.
Tooling ownership, usage rights, storage arrangements, and maintenance responsibilities are defined in the quotation, purchase order, or agreement confirmed by both parties.

When a customer pays the full development cost of dedicated tooling, the tooling is generally designated for that customer according to the agreed terms and may be stored at Homer Hardware for production of the customer’s orders. Customer-dedicated tooling will not be used for a third party without the customer’s approval.

Ownership and usage conditions for shared tooling, standard tooling, tooling developed by Homer Hardware, or tooling not fully funded by the customer are confirmed separately for each project.

Products, Materials & Finishes

Homer Hardware provides development and manufacturing services for custom metal parts, plastic components, buckles, brackets, hinges, handles, springs, wire-formed parts, webbing assemblies, and assembled products.

Our manufacturing capabilities include metal stamping, die casting, plastic injection molding, laser cutting, sheet-metal bending, CNC turning and milling, spring and wire forming, forging, riveting, sewing, and assembly.

Products can be used in automotive components, industrial safety equipment, furniture, medical assistive devices, outdoor products, tool bags, AI servers, drones, solar equipment, and other industrial applications. Manufacturing feasibility is evaluated according to product design, dimensions, materials, quantities, and quality requirements.
Available metal materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloys, zinc alloys, copper, and other customer-specified metals. Common options include stainless steel 304 and 316, aluminum alloys 6061 and 5052, and various steels suitable for stamping, machining, die casting, or heat treatment.

Plastic materials may include PA, PA66, PP, ABS, TPE, and other engineering plastics. Glass-fiber reinforcement, heat-resistant, weather-resistant, flame-retardant, and overmolding materials can also be evaluated according to product requirements.

Material selection is evaluated based on strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, operating temperature, appearance, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing processes.
Homer Hardware can support various surface-finishing options according to material, product application, and appearance requirements. Available processes may include zinc plating, zinc-nickel plating, nickel plating, powder coating, e-coating, anodizing, polishing, sandblasting, heat treatment, and other customized finishes.

Color, coating thickness, gloss level, corrosion resistance, and testing standards can be evaluated according to customer drawings or specifications. Requirements related to salt-spray testing, trivalent chromium, RoHS, REACH, or other compliance standards should be provided during the quotation stage.
Yes. We can evaluate the sourcing and manufacturing feasibility of customer-specified materials according to drawings, material grades, international standards, or performance requirements.

Please provide the material name, grade, standard, mechanical properties, hardness, heat-treatment requirements, surface finish, and compliance requirements during the quotation stage. If a specified material has minimum-purchase quantities, longer lead times, or supply limitations, we will explain possible alternatives, minimum order requirements, and cost differences.

No substitute material will be used without customer approval.
Material certificates, material reports, certificates of conformity, or supporting documents from suppliers can be evaluated according to individual project requirements.

Document content and traceability depend on the material source, supplier, purchase quantity, and customer requirements. If a specific certificate format, heat-number traceability, chemical composition, mechanical-property data, or third-party test report is required, please inform us before quotation so that availability, cost, and lead time can be confirmed.

Additional charges may apply for special documentation or third-party testing.
We can make a preliminary assessment of possible materials, manufacturing processes, and surface finishes based on a physical sample’s appearance, weight, structure, dimensions, and processing features.

However, visual inspection alone normally cannot confirm the exact material grade, chemical composition, hardness, heat-treatment condition, or coating specification. Material composition, hardness, coating thickness, or other testing can be arranged when accurate identification is required.

Final materials, dimensions, tolerances, surface finishes, and quality requirements must still be confirmed by the customer before final quotation and mass production.

After reviewing the information, we will evaluate materials, manufacturing processes, tooling or fixture requirements, surface finishes, packaging, and delivery terms before issuing a formal quotation. If additional information is required, we will contact you for clarification.
For an accurate quotation, we recommend providing the following information:

• 2D or 3D drawings, or a physical sample
• Product dimensions, tolerances, and functional requirements
• Specified materials, hardness, or heat-treatment requirements
• Surface finish, color, coating thickness, and appearance requirements
• Estimated order quantity and annual demand
• Required sample and production lead times
• Packaging and shipping requirements
• Inspection, testing, certification, or compliance-document requirements

If complete information is not yet available, photographs, sketches, key dimensions, and the intended application may be submitted for a preliminary evaluation.
Yes. Most products are subject to a minimum order quantity, which varies according to the material, manufacturing process, tooling, surface finish, packaging method, and suppliers’ minimum-purchase requirements.

Custom stamped parts, injection-molded parts, die-cast components, special colors, and special materials generally require higher minimum quantities. Smaller production quantities may be evaluated for CNC-machined, laser-cut, or certain sheet-metal components.

Please provide the product information and estimated demand, and the applicable MOQ will be stated in our quotation.
Yes. Samples can generally be produced before mass production to confirm dimensions, appearance, materials, assembly, and basic functionality.

The sampling method depends on the product and manufacturing process. Samples may be made using production tooling, prototype tooling, CNC machining, laser cutting, 3D printing, or another suitable method. Some prototype samples may differ from mass-production parts in material, surface finish, or manufacturing process, and such differences will be explained before production.

Mass production will be arranged after the sample and final specifications have been approved by the customer.
Sample charges depend on the product, material, manufacturing process, sample quantity, and whether dedicated tooling or fixtures are required.

Custom samples are generally subject to sample, processing, tooling or fixture, and shipping charges. Additional costs may apply for special materials, surface finishes, testing, or third-party inspection.

The applicable charges, payment terms, and whether any sample cost can be credited toward a future production order will be stated in the quotation.
The validity period is stated in the formal quotation.

As raw-material prices, exchange rates, surface-finishing costs, freight charges, and other supply costs may change, price and lead time may need to be reconfirmed after the quotation expires. Requotation may also be required if the product specifications, order quantity, delivery terms, or quality requirements are changed.

We recommend confirming the order within the stated validity period to retain the quoted terms.
Low-volume trial production can be evaluated on a project-by-project basis. Trial production may be used to verify process stability, assembly fit, quality standards, and mass-production feasibility.

Feasibility depends on material minimum-purchase quantities, tooling and machine setup costs, surface-finishing batch requirements, product complexity, and supplier limitations. As fixed costs are distributed over a smaller quantity, the unit price for a trial order is generally higher than the mass-production price.

Please provide the expected trial quantity and future production demand so that we can recommend a suitable manufacturing plan and quotation.

Quality, Inspection & Compliance

Homer Hardware manages product quality according to customer drawings, technical specifications, approved samples, and inspection requirements. Appropriate controls are arranged throughout the process, including raw-material and purchased-part verification, first-article inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection before shipment.

Typical inspection items include dimensions, tolerances, appearance, materials, hardness, surface finishes, assembly fit, and functional performance. Customer-specified inspection standards, sampling plans, testing methods, or quality-document requirements should be provided during the quotation and development stages so they can be included in the manufacturing and quality plan.

The actual quality-control process is determined according to the product design, manufacturing processes, order quantity, and project requirements.
Available inspection items depend on the product, material, and manufacturing process. Common inspection items include:

• Dimensional and tolerance inspection
• Hole-position, angle, flatness, and assembly-fit checks
• Appearance, color, and surface-quality inspection
• Material, hardness, and heat-treatment verification
• Plating or coating thickness inspection
• Assembly, operation, and basic functional testing
• Tensile, load, or durability-related testing
• Packaging, quantity, and shipping-label verification

If special measuring equipment, customer-specified test standards, or third-party laboratory testing is required, please provide the applicable specifications during the quotation stage so that feasibility, cost, and lead time can be confirmed.
Dimensional inspection reports can be provided according to project requirements. Reports may record critical dimensions, tolerances, measured results, and acceptance status based on customer drawings and specified inspection items.

If full-dimensional inspection, a specific sampling quantity, a customer-designated report format, measuring-equipment information, or a first-article inspection report is required, please inform us before quotation or order confirmation so that the required time, cost, and lead time can be evaluated.

The reporting frequency and submission method for production batches will follow the quality requirements confirmed by both parties.
Tensile, load, hardness, operational, assembly, and other functional testing can be evaluated according to product and project requirements.

The test method, load conditions, sample quantity, acceptance criteria, and testing frequency should be provided by the customer during the development or quotation stage. If special equipment, a designated international standard, or third-party laboratory testing is required, we can assist in confirming an appropriate testing method and arrangement.

Additional charges may apply for special testing, test-fixture development, or third-party laboratory services. Applicable costs and lead time will be quoted separately.
Material certificates, material reports, heat-treatment reports, plating or surface-treatment certificates, coating-thickness data, and related inspection documents can be evaluated according to project requirements, material sources, and supplier-document availability.

If a specific format, heat-number traceability, chemical composition, mechanical properties, hardness data, salt-spray testing, or a designated surface-treatment standard is required, please inform us before quotation so that supplier availability can be confirmed.

Special documentation, batch-specific traceability, or third-party testing may affect the minimum order quantity, cost, and lead time.
RoHS, REACH, California Proposition 65, TSCA, EU POPs, PFAS, and other customer-specified compliance requirements can be evaluated according to the product, materials, surface finishes, and availability of supply-chain documentation.

Customers should provide the applicable market, regulation name and revision, restricted-substance list, exemptions, and required document format during the quotation stage. We will confirm the availability of declarations, test reports, or other supporting documents with the relevant material and process suppliers.

As regulatory requirements vary by product, material, and production batch, compliance documentation is confirmed for each individual project and does not mean that every product automatically complies with all regulations. Additional cost and lead time may apply if third-party testing is required.
FAI reports, dimensional inspection reports, control plans, process flow diagrams, material and surface-treatment documents, sample-approval records, and other quality documents can be evaluated according to the project, product complexity, and customer requirements.

The required PPAP submission level, document content, and applicable requirements must be clearly specified by the customer during the quotation or early development stage. We will evaluate the available documentation, cost, and preparation lead time based on the product, manufacturing process, supply-chain information, and required workload.

Complete PPAP documentation is not automatically available for every product or supply chain. Additional charges and lead time may apply for third-party testing, special measurement, process-capability studies, or additional document preparation.

Production lead time varies according to product design, material, manufacturing process, surface finish, order quantity, and quality requirements.

Standard products, existing-tooling items, and components with simpler processes generally require shorter lead times. Custom stamped, injection-molded, die-cast, or assembled products, as well as items requiring special materials or finishes, may require additional preparation and production time.

The actual production lead time will be stated in the formal quotation or order confirmation after the specifications, quantity, material availability, and manufacturing conditions have been reviewed. International shipping and destination customs-clearance time are generally not included.
Sample lead time depends on product complexity, material availability, prototyping method, tooling or fixture requirements, surface finishing, and inspection items.

Prototype samples made by CNC machining, laser cutting, sheet-metal fabrication, or 3D printing can generally be completed more quickly. If stamping dies, plastic injection molds, die-casting tools, or special fixtures are required, the sample lead time will also include tooling design, fabrication, trial runs, and necessary revisions.

An estimated completion date will be provided after the drawings, specifications, and sampling method have been confirmed. Changes to the design, material, or inspection requirements may require the lead time to be reevaluated.
Tooling development time depends on the type of tooling, product dimensions, design complexity, number of cavities, tooling material, precision requirements, and the number of trial runs required.

The typical process includes drawing and manufacturability review, tooling design, material preparation, machining and assembly, initial trials, sample inspection, and necessary corrections. Development time may differ for stamping dies, plastic injection molds, die-casting tools, and forging dies.

The estimated tooling lead time will be provided after the engineering evaluation. Product design, dimensional, or material changes made during tooling development may result in additional modification costs and a longer schedule.
Yes. High-volume production can be evaluated according to the manufacturing process, available equipment capacity, material supply, tooling condition, quality requirements, and delivery schedule.

For recurring or high-volume demand, customers are encouraged to provide estimated annual usage, quantity per order, delivery frequency, and demand forecasts. This allows us to plan materials, tooling maintenance, production capacity, surface finishing, and assembly resources in advance.

For particularly large orders, production and delivery may be divided into scheduled batches according to an agreed plan to support capacity, consistent quality, and inventory management.
Multiple shipments can be arranged according to customer requirements and production conditions. Customers should provide the required quantity, delivery date, destination, and shipping method for each batch during quotation or order confirmation so that an appropriate production and delivery plan can be evaluated.

Split deliveries may affect packaging, storage, documentation, freight costs, and payment arrangements. The applicable terms should therefore be agreed upon before the order is confirmed.

If the batch quantities or delivery dates are changed after order confirmation, the production schedule and related costs may need to be reevaluated.
Urgent orders can be evaluated individually based on material availability, tooling condition, the existing production schedule, required processes, surface finishing, and inspection items. However, a shortened lead time cannot be guaranteed for every product.

For urgent requirements, please provide complete drawings, specifications, quantities, the required delivery date, and acceptable shipping methods as early as possible. We will evaluate whether the request can be supported through production rescheduling, partial deliveries, alternative processes, or faster transportation.

Additional charges may apply for overtime, priority scheduling, special purchasing, split processing, or expedited shipping. Any additional cost will be quoted and confirmed before proceeding.
Lead time generally begins after the following conditions have been completed:

• The formal order or purchase order has been confirmed
• Final drawings, specifications, and drawing revisions have been approved
• Price, quantity, payment, and delivery terms have been confirmed
• The required deposit or agreed payment has been received
• Samples, colors, surface finishes, and packaging methods have been approved
• Customer-supplied materials, components, or documents have been received

If tooling is required, the tooling-development lead time and mass-production lead time are generally calculated separately. Production lead time normally begins after the tooling, samples, and relevant specifications have been approved.

Delays in customer approval, design changes, or additional testing and documentation requirements may extend the schedule. International transportation, customs clearance, and destination delivery time are generally calculated separately.

Payment, Logistics & Shipping

Homer Hardware primarily accepts payment by telegraphic transfer (T/T) for international orders. Payment instructions, currency, bank details, and remittance requirements will be stated in the formal quotation, proforma invoice, or order confirmation.

Other payment methods may be evaluated according to the customer’s credit status, order value, cooperation history, and project requirements. Bank charges and intermediary bank fees are generally borne by the payer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Our standard payment terms for custom orders are a 50% deposit upon order confirmation, with the remaining 50% due before shipment. Specific payment arrangements are negotiable.

Full payment before production or shipment may be required for tooling, samples, small orders, first-time orders, or urgent air shipments. Credit terms for established customers may be evaluated according to transaction history, credit status, order volume, and internal approval.

The applicable payment percentage, due date, and conditions will be stated in the formal quotation, proforma invoice, or confirmed order documents.
Available Incoterms are determined based on the product, order value, shipping method, destination, and customer requirements. Common arrangements include FOB and EXW. If you prefer another Incoterm, please let us know, and we will be happy to discuss its feasibility.

Responsibilities for export clearance, international freight, insurance, import customs clearance, duties, and destination charges vary by Incoterm. The applicable responsibilities and costs will follow the quotation and the specified version of the Incoterms rules.

Please provide your preferred Incoterm and destination port or delivery location when requesting a quotation.
Yes. We can assist in arranging international courier, air freight, or sea freight according to the shipment size, weight, quantity, required delivery schedule, and destination.

International courier or air freight is generally suitable for samples, smaller orders, and urgent shipments. Sea freight may be evaluated for larger or heavier orders when the delivery schedule allows.

The shipping method, cost, estimated transit time, and applicable Incoterm will be confirmed before shipment. Transit time may be affected by flight or vessel schedules, weather conditions, customs inspections, and destination delivery arrangements.
Yes. Customers may provide a valid DHL, FedEx, UPS, or other carrier account before shipment, together with the account name, contact information, and any required authorization.

Freight charges, import duties and taxes, remote-area fees, residential-delivery fees, and other carrier surcharges are generally billed directly to the account holder by the carrier.

If the account cannot be used, authorization is incomplete, or the shipment is rejected by the carrier, we will contact the customer to arrange an alternative shipping method.
Yes. Customized packaging can be evaluated according to product characteristics, transportation methods, and customer requirements. Options may include individual packaging, divided packaging, scratch protection, rust prevention, labels, barcodes, inner and outer carton markings, palletizing, and other customized arrangements.

If designated packaging materials, branded markings, special carton dimensions, vacuum packaging, export wooden cases, or other special packaging is required, please provide the relevant specifications, photographs, or samples during the quotation stage.

Special materials, printing, packaging tests, and additional labor may affect the minimum order quantity, unit price, and lead time. Applicable costs will be confirmed separately.
Orders may be shipped in multiple batches or delivered directly to a customer-designated warehouse, factory, port, or other delivery location, subject to the order terms, applicable Incoterm, and logistical feasibility.

Customers should provide the quantity and delivery date for each batch, complete delivery address, contact person, shipping method, and required documentation during quotation or order confirmation.

Split shipments or deliveries to multiple locations may result in additional packaging, documentation, storage, customs-clearance, and transportation costs. Changes made after order confirmation may require the cost and schedule to be reevaluated.
Homer Hardware does not currently offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping.

Under DDP terms, the seller is responsible for import customs clearance, duties, taxes, and related obligations in the destination country. As import regulations and tax requirements vary by country, these responsibilities must currently be handled by the customer, the customer’s designated importer, or customs broker.

Depending on the order and destination, we can evaluate EXW,  FOB, or other mutually agreed delivery terms and cooperate with the customer’s nominated freight forwarder.

After-Sales Support

If an issue related to dimensions, appearance, function, quantity, packaging, or other requirements is found after delivery, please contact Homer Hardware as soon as possible and provide the following information:

• Order number, product number, and batch number
• Affected quantity and date of discovery
• Description of the issue and affected specification
• Clear photographs or videos
• Measurement results and measuring equipment used
• Condition of the cartons, labels, and packaging
• Nonconforming samples, if required

Before the initial review is completed, please isolate and preserve the affected products, packaging, and relevant records. Further processing, assembly, or use should be suspended to support an accurate investigation.

After receiving the information, we will conduct a preliminary analysis and determine the next steps according to the product specifications, approved samples, inspection records, and confirmed order terms.
A typical customer complaint handling process includes:

1. The customer provides the order details, production batch, issue description, affected quantity, photographs, and measurement data.
2. Homer Hardware reviews the complaint information and may request that the affected products be isolated or returned for examination.
3. The issue is investigated based on drawings, approved samples, production records, inspection reports, packaging, and shipping information.
4. The cause, affected scope, and responsibility are evaluated.
5. Appropriate actions, such as sorting, rework, replenishment, remanufacturing, or another mutually agreed solution, are discussed with the customer.
6. Root-cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive measures may be provided when required.
7. The agreed action is implemented and the case is closed after confirmation by both parties.

The actual handling method and response time depend on the complexity of the issue, sample availability, testing requirements, and the progress of any related supplier investigation.
Responsibility for a product issue is determined according to the drawings, technical specifications, approved samples, order terms, inspection standards, and relevant records confirmed by both parties.

The investigation may include a review of:

• Raw-material and purchased-component records
• Production and in-process inspection records
• Final inspection results
• Comparison of affected and conforming products
• Customer receiving, storage, assembly, and usage conditions
• Packaging, transportation, and delivery records
• Subsequent processing or modification by the customer

If responsibility cannot be determined from the available information, both parties may agree to arrange sample analysis, functional testing, or third-party inspection. Related costs and responsibilities will be handled according to the final investigation results and the applicable transaction documents.
Replacement, remanufacturing, rework, sorting, or another appropriate solution can be evaluated according to the cause of the issue, affected quantity, responsibility, product condition, and customer requirements.

If the investigation confirms that the products do not conform to the manufacturing specifications approved by both parties and Homer Hardware is responsible, we will confirm the affected quantity, corrective method, and estimated completion schedule with the customer.

The affected scope and proposed solution must be confirmed before replacement or remanufacturing begins. If products are scrapped, reworked, returned, or otherwise handled before the investigation is completed or without prior confirmation, any related costs will need to be agreed upon separately.
Upon delivery, please check the condition of the cartons, pallets, seals, and products, and verify the number of packages, product numbers, and quantities against the packing list.

If a shortage or shipping damage is found, please take the following actions as soon as possible:

• Note the shortage or damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt
• Photograph unopened cartons, pallets, labels, seals, and damaged products
• Preserve the original packaging, protective materials, and shipping documents
• Provide the packing list, bill of lading, air waybill, or courier tracking information
• Identify the affected product numbers and quantities
• Do not discard, rework, or use the affected products

We will assist with the investigation based on shipping records, packaging information, delivery documents, and the applicable Incoterm. If the shipment was arranged using the customer’s nominated carrier or freight account, the claim may need to be submitted by the account holder or nominated freight forwarder. We will cooperate by providing available shipping documentation.
