AI Server Storage Module Metal Mounting Tray Description

This metal mounting tray features a stamped and formed structure designed to serve as a mounting base between storage modules and the chassis of AI servers or storage equipment. A large rectangular opening can be configured according to storage module dimensions, cooling space, connector locations, or internal chassis layouts.

The tray integrates various structural features, including round mounting holes, local formed bosses, tabs, folded edges, and positioning features. These can be customized to interface with hard drives, SSDs, module frames, or other chassis components.

Selected areas can also incorporate cushioning pads, insulating pads, or other auxiliary materials according to the product design to provide contact protection, spacing, or assembly support.

Depending on project requirements, the following features can be customized:

  • Overall tray length, width, and height
  • Central opening dimensions and location
  • Mounting-hole diameter, quantity, and spacing
  • Tabs and positioning features
  • Local bosses and stamped forms
  • Side bends and edge structures
  • Material thickness
  • Hard drive, SSD, or module interface dimensions
  • Cushioning or insulating pad configuration
  • Screw, rivet, snap-fit, or other assembly methods
