AI Server Multi-Module Metal Mounting Tray Description

This metal mounting tray features an integrated stamped and formed structure with multiple large rectangular cutouts in different sizes. These openings can be configured according to the positions of internal server modules, storage devices, cables, and other structural components to provide mounting or clearance space.

Multiple round mounting holes and formed side flanges are incorporated around the tray for fastening to the server chassis or other supporting structures. Several vertical positioning tabs and mounting ears are also integrated into the tray to support, locate, or connect different modules, allowing multiple components to be installed on a single mounting base.

Local reinforcing ribs and formed features can also be incorporated and customized according to structural and assembly requirements.

Depending on project requirements, the following features can be customized:

  • Overall tray length, width, and height
  • Material thickness
  • Rectangular cutout dimensions, quantity, and location
  • Mounting-hole diameter, quantity, and spacing
  • Vertical positioning tab dimensions and locations
  • Mounting ears and module interfaces
  • Side flange height and bend angles
  • Reinforcing ribs and local formed features
  • Cable and connector clearance openings
  • Screw, rivet, or other assembly methods
  • Surface finishing and color

Homer Hardware can evaluate stamping, punching, laser cutting, bending, local forming, CNC secondary machining, riveting, and assembly based on customer 2D/3D drawings, chassis dimensions, module layouts, or physical samples for customized sheet-metal components used in AI servers, data center equipment, and other electronic enclosures.
