AI Server Metal Drive Tray Frame Description

This metal frame is designed for removable hard drive or storage module assemblies used in AI servers, storage equipment, and data center chassis. It serves as a supporting, guiding, and fastening interface between the storage module and the chassis.

The assembly incorporates multiple metal components, including side guide rails, front fastening structures, connecting parts, locking features, and other hardware. During insertion, the side structures help guide and position the module, while the front fastening or locking mechanism secures it in the intended location.

Depending on project requirements, the following features can be customized:

  • Overall frame length, width, and height
  • Hard drive or storage module interface dimensions
  • Side guide rails and insertion structures
  • Mounting-hole diameter, quantity, and location
  • Front locking and fastening mechanisms
  • Bend angles and formed features
  • Screw, rivet, and other assembly methods
  • Surface finishing
  • Protective film application

For projects with higher surface appearance requirements, protective film can be applied to specified metal surfaces to help reduce scratches and abrasion during secondary processing, handling, assembly, or transportation.

Homer Hardware can evaluate stamping, punching, bending, forming, drilling, riveting, screw assembly, CNC secondary machining, and surface finishing based on customer 2D/3D drawings, chassis structures, module dimensions, or physical samples for customized AI server and storage equipment metal frames.
