AI Server Dual COM Port PCIe Metal Mounting Bracket Description

This metal bracket is designed to secure and position a dual COM port PCIe expansion card within a server chassis. The front section provides two DB9 serial connector mounting interfaces, allowing external devices to connect through the chassis while maintaining proper alignment between the PCB and enclosure.

The bracket incorporates PCIe chassis mounting features at both ends, while connector openings, screw holes, and positioning features can be customized to ensure proper alignment between the DB9 connectors, PCB assembly, and chassis openings.

Depending on project requirements, the following features can be customized:

  • Overall bracket length and width
  • Material thickness
  • DB9 connector opening dimensions
  • Single-port, dual-port, or other connector layouts
  • Connector mounting-hole diameter and location
  • PCB mounting positions
  • PCIe chassis interface
  • Upper and lower fastening features
  • Bend angles and overall profile
  • Laser marking or identification features
  • Surface finishing

The design can be developed according to the customer’s PCB and chassis configuration and is not limited to DB9 serial ports. Openings and mounting structures can also be adapted for other communication and I/O connectors.

Homer Hardware can evaluate stamping, laser cutting, punching, bending, CNC secondary machining, deburring, and surface finishing based on customer 2D/3D drawings, PCB layouts, connector specifications, chassis dimensions, or physical samples for customized expansion-card brackets used in AI servers, industrial computers, data center equipment, and other electronic systems.
